Program Lists and Definitions

Each program is defined by a list of things that a dancer must know to dance that program. You may download the current program lists by using the links below.

CALLERLAB also publishes definitions for the calls and concepts that make up each program.  We currently make those available in two forms.  Use the HTML () version for online reference, or copy the PDF version () to your own computer for use with Adobe's Acrobat Reader or for printing.

12/19/2007		Mainstream Non-Program Teaching Items. This document provides a list of items which the Mainstream committee highly recommends be taught to dancers. This list is in checklist format to be used to track teaching the items.
12/13/2006		Mainstream Definitions (Danish Translation). This document provides the Mainstream Definitions in both English and Danish.
4/23/2006		Formation & Arrangement Pictogram. This document shows the approved six Boy-Girl Arrangements for each of 27 selected Formations. Included are 17 newly selected Formations in addition to the 10 Formations which were previously approved by CALLERLAB in 1980.
11/29/2005		Certified Square Dance Teacher (CSDT) Program. This document provides information about the CSDT program. This progam is intended to not only provide certification but also to improve a caller's teaching skills.

6/15/1980		Square Dance Formations. This document is a chart of the 53 Square Dance Formations which have been identified and named by CALLERLAB. This document was approved by CALLERLAB in 1980.
